GERMAN B2 – Goethe-Zertifikat B2

Description:
This upper-intermediate course follows the official Goethe-Institut B2 curriculum and builds on the skills acquired at B1 level. You will learn to communicate fluently and spontaneously in a wide range of social, academic, and professional situations, understand complex spoken and written texts, and express ideas clearly and in detail. The course includes focused exam preparation for the Goethe-Zertifikat B2.

You will learn to:
• Participate actively in discussions and present opinions with clear arguments
• Understand detailed spoken language, lectures, interviews, and media content
• Read and analyze complex texts such as newspaper articles, reports, and literary excerpts
• Communicate effectively in professional and academic contexts
• Write structured and coherent texts such as formal emails, essays, and reports

Grammar & Skills:
• Review and consolidation of B1 grammar
• Advanced sentence structures and word order
• Passive voice in various tenses
• Konjunktiv II for hypotheses, politeness, and advice
• Complex subordinate clauses and connectors
• Relative clauses with prepositions
• Nominalization and verb–noun combinations
• Advanced adjective declension
• Fixed prepositions and idiomatic expressions

Exam preparation:
Model tests, speaking presentations, debates, listening comprehension, reading strategies, and writing tasks aligned with the Goethe-Zertifikat B2 exam format.

Goal:
Successfully pass the Goethe-Zertifikat B2 and communicate confidently, precisely, and effectively in demanding academic, professional, and social situations in German-speaking environments.
